An Australian soccer player's wife reportedly has left him after he who made headlines for getting caught on camera giving oral sex to one of his teammates.
This week, a nine-second video that showed an Australian athlete giving his teammate fellatio after allegedly losing a bet in full view of everyone at a bar, went viral online. The teammates, who represent the Glen Waverley Football Club in Melbourne, allegedly made a bet while intoxicated, requiring the loser to engage in oral sex with the winner.
The outrageous incident happened on August 14 following the football team's final match of the season. One of the men performs oral sex before raising his hand while others applaud him. According to Radar Online, the player who was seen performing oral sex has since separated from his wife, a decision that was probably brought on by the video's widespread social media exposure.
Following this event, the Glen Waverley Football Club issued a statement in which they promised to address the players' “serious breach of our culture and values that have occurred within this incident” and promised to take "immediate action." The statement continued, “The individuals involved, along with the broader playing group will be both disciplined & educated and if need be, counseled in the type of conduct expected by members of our Club, along with the physical & emotional impact this has had on the families involved, club members, players, and the wider community.”
