These news anchors are not playing when it comes to water! It feels like California is always in a drought. That didn't stop David Goldstein from CBS Los Angeles to investigate if celebrities with the money to pay fines, are abiding by the local water restrictions in place. Goldstein went so far to pull public records for water usage at multiple celebrity homes!
In the report, Goldstein notes multiple A-List celebrities who went over their allotted water usage. He calls out Kourtney Kardashian for using 245% more than allotted for 4 months. Sylvester Stalone was also on the list for 4 months using 351% of its budget. Howie Mandel also went over by 241% for 4 months. Rapper, The Game made the list as well going over the allotted amount for 4 months as well.
Although they received fines after their second violation, Goldstein points out the districts new plan to reduce flow of water to homes who go over budget for four or more months! The device is placed into the water meter at the home and restricts water flow from about 26 gallons per minute to only 1 gallon per minute! It is left in place to force homes to abide by water restrictions in place and to conserve water. Goldstein notes this was already done to Kevin Hart!
