Mario announced during his Verzuz battle he had new music coming. Now, Mario announced his latest single will feature Tory Lanez, the artist accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Although cancel culture hasn't necessarily put an end to Tory's career, many people felt that Mario shouldn't have done it. Some noted how Mario charmed women, particularly Black women, during his Verzuz performance. After hearing about Tory's arrest in 2020, other people brought up Mario's previous remarks about Tory Lanez in regards to the alleged shooting.
