Investigators Find 2 Pilots Allegedly Fell Asleep In Cockpit During Flight

This is scary. A flight from JFK to Rome with 250 passengers almost turned bad after pilots lost contact with ground for 10 minutes. After the pilots stopped replying, fighter jets began scrambling to intervene the plane. An investigation found that nothing was wrong with the radio equipment after the pilots reported faulty equipment was the reason for loss of contact. Investigators found the pilots allegedly fell asleep, resulting in the Captain being fired for sleeping and then lying about it. The co-captain was on a designated sleep break yet the Captain should have been incharge of the plain.
