Morgan Freeman making the list of Americans banned from visiting Russia sparked a social media frenzy of hilarious reactions.
The 84-year-old Academy Award-winning actor's name was listed with 963 other people released by the Kremlin Saturday, describing him as 'a well-known film actor who in September 2017 recorded a video message accusing Russia of conspiring against the United States and calling for a fight against our country.' I should note, they also listed John McCain... Who is deceased!
Freeman had appeared in a clip for the Committee to Investigate Russia where he claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin had performed 'cyber warfare to attack democracies around the world,' and called him a 'sworn enemy, the United States.'
Fans noted on Twitter Freeman's role in numerous films including The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy and Se7en, in their reactions.
