Bay Area rap legend Too $hort admitted recently that one of his biggest mistakes he regrets from his career wa turning down beats from Kanye West. Although Too $hort has worked with some of the biggest producers in the industry from Jermaine Dupri, Lil John, Daz Dillinger, and more.
Too $hort recalls how he was working on his 'The Fix' album released in 2002, and rapper Scarface was excitedly telling Too $hort about a young Kanye West. Scarface said to $hort "I got the coldest muh f*ckin producer.. he's from Chicago.. He got the beats.. $2000 a beat.. It's the $hit!"
