Serena Williams has hinted at a possible sequel to the critically acclaimed film King Richard, which chronicles the life of her father, Richard Williams, who meticulously groomed her and her sister Venus to become two of the greatest tennis players of all time.
The American Film Institute rated the compelling film one of the finest films of 2021, with Serena and Venus serving as executive producers to help convey the story in its most true form. However, it now appears that a sequel to the film is in the works, as Serena declares that she isn't done in Hollywood just yet.
Serena Williams gushed about the climax of King Richard, which sees Venus start on and finish her first professional tournament, in a recent interview with Insider. She thought it was the best way to end her father's narrative.
Now, it seems the sequel could follow the tennis careers, including the ups and downs, of Venus & Serena.
