Several A-list artists' YouTube channels were flooded with illegal films as a result of a YouTube breach. Among the musicians whose YouTube feeds were hacked early Tuesday morning were Drake, JustinBieber, Eminem, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, Michael Jackson, and Taylor Swift. An "unauthorized source" uploaded videos to "Vevo artist channels." Since then, all of the hacker videos have been removed.
The names and context of many of the videos were bizarre. "Justin Bieber – Free Paco Sanz (ft. Will Smith, Chris Rock, Skinny Slim & Los Pelaos)" was one of them. Paco Sanz is a con artist who pretended to be terminally ill in order to defraud thousands of people. He was seen clutching a guitar and singing in Spanish in the video.
While Vevo is conducting a thorough security investigation, no one has been identified as the perpetrator of the attack. However, the hacks were claimed by Twitter user @lospelaosbro, who went on to publish numerous of the bizarre videos that appeared on the celebrity accounts.
