A father in Sacramento is trying to locate a homeless man who helped save his daughter when gunfire claimed 6 lives last weekend. He says he was heading to pick up his daughter and friends when he heard the gunfire on the phone and through his car window.
The father stated he frantically drove to the location to find his daughter. His daughter heard the gunshots and began to run when she fell. She says that's when a homeless man who was sleeping in a doorway nearby woke up, helped her up and told the girls to get into the alcove to hide from the gunfire. He says the homeless man put his body in front of the young ladies poking his head out the alcove for safety.
The father is thankful for the homeless man's selfless act and is hoping to track him down. They know his name is Tim from Ohio and he has been homeless for 8 months. Hopefully, they can track down Tim and get him the assistance he needs.
