Oakland native and Hollywood producers Ryan Coogler was subjected to being detained by police in Atlanta after a bank teller called the police believing he was trying to rob the bank. The note, which included his account number, he also provided his ID, debit card, and pin, asked to withdraw $12,000 in cash "discretely" and to "not use the money machine." Unfortunately, the teller admits as she calls 911 that she felt he was trying to rob the bank, yet didn't check if his ID matched the account. Even the 911 operator was blown away by the assumption.
Twitter reacted to the 911 call with outrage.
