Disneyland and Disney World will now allow guests to drop their masks if they are fully vaccinated against COVID19.
Disney is leaving it up to their visitors to decide if they want to wear a mask or not, if they are vaccinated. The option will be available starting February 17, 2022. If you aren’t vaccinated, you’ll still be required to wear a mask.
The Walt Disney Company announced the new rules on Tuesday writing:
“We expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theatres,” the company said on its website. “Face coverings will still be required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.”
People aged two and up will be required to wear a mask. No details yet on how the park plans to check vaccination status for guests.
