Governor Gavin Newsom hinted at this late last year and it looks like it may be happening. California lawmakers introduced a new bill - AB 1594 - that will allow victims of shootings including private citizens,cities and counties to sue gun makers and sellers on claims they acted dangerously and recklessly. This comes after the Supreme Court took a similar approach towards abortion in Texas, allowing private citizens to sue those whom assist in giving or getting an abortion.
