Ben Affleck is catching major heat after seemingly blaming his drinking problem on his previous marriage with ‘13 Going On 30′ star Jennifer Garner.
While appearing on the Howard Stern Show on Monday, Affleck, 49, who is currently dating JLO, opened up about his struggles with alcoholism while he was married to Garner. The two share three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.
“I’d probably still be drinking. It’s part of why I started drinking … because I was trapped,” he said. “I was like ‘I can’t leave ’cause of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.”
Garner went on the record months ago to speak on their split and her thoughts on Affleck now dating Jennifer Lopez. Garner always supported her then husband through the ups and downs even driving him to rehab.
Now, social media is going OFF on Ben after his latest comments.
