In 2021, you would think predators knew better! Sony has reportedly fired their Senior Vice President of engineering for the last eight years, George Cacioppo, after he allegedly was caught inviting what he thought was a 15-year-old boy to his home to have sex. Cacioppo worked specifically on the Playstation Store per his Linkdeln.
Video posted to Youtube appears to show George Cacioppo walking outside his home to meet a person claiming to be a 15-year-old boy. He then returns to his home as a camera man confronts him for attempting to allegedly meet a child.
“We are aware of the situation and the employee in question has been terminated from employment,” Sony stated in an emailed statement Sunday.
The popular Youtuber says Cacioppo allegedly spoke with someone who pretended to be 15 years old on the Grindr app. The two sent pictures to each other and communicated about sex acts, according to screenshots of the conversation. Cacioppo allegedly told the decoy that his name was “Jeff” and gave his address. The decoy said he would take an Uber to his house at 4:30am, and Cacioppo was caught waiting outside. The cameraman is then hear yelling that he will call the police because Cacioppo was allegedly attempting to have sex with a 15-year-old boy.
Screenshots of their alleged conversation appear to show Cacioppo wearing a PS5 shirt in a photo sent, as the two discuss sexual acts and plans to meet.
