A brave 17-year-old girl from Honduras has been rescued from a human trafficking ring after she was smuggled into the US, sexually assaulted, then held in a shed in the backyard of a San Leandro home. The 17-year-old says when she was in Honduras when, Juan Aguilar 41, threatened the teen at gunpoint, stating if she reported the crime he would kill her grandmother. Aguilar allegedly then repeatedly sexually assaulted her before eventually selling the teen to a human trafficker, who reunited the teen with Aguilar here in the US. Once here in the US, the young girl was forced into prostitution.
Aguilar's wife, Margaret Wilson 39, allegedly took the teen to San Francisco to groom her into prostitution. The 17-year-old was only rescued after she confieded into Aguilar niece, whom then took her to San Francisco police to report the crime.
