Former NFL running back, Zac Stacy, is now on the run after police plan to charge him with two felony charges following the brutal attack on his ex-girlfriend over the weekend. He will be charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief.
Video went viral showing Stacy exploding on his ex-girlfriend - punching her and throwing her into a television in a terrifying altercation in full view of their young child. Police responded to a call for Domestic Dispute within 2 minutes Saturday yet Stacy had already left the scene.
WARNING - VIDEO IS TRIGGERING AND VIOLENT
Police have yet to locate the former Rams player. "Efforts are underway to capture Stacy," the spokesperson said. "And we would urge him to turn himself in and face the criminal charges."
The victim of Stacy's attack is pleading with the public and his friends to turn him in. She believes Stacy is being hidden by his friends.
"I don't know why his friends are hiding him," the woman said in a video message Thursday. "If you see him -- he drives a white Kia Optima, a 2020 I believe or a 2021."
"Please, again, if you see him or you know of any location that he might be, please turn him in or call your local authorities."
The victim does have security provided for her until police apprehend Stacy.
Numerous NFL players have reacted to the news with disgust and anger.
MMA star Uriah Hall spoke on the brutal attack and what might happen if they crossed paths.
