Issa Rae is loyal as FUX! Sis sat down with Kevin Durant for the second episode of 'The Etc' and explained why she doesn't listen to Meek Mill or Pusha T even though Drake has forgiven Meek Mill. She explains this as she was discussing music placement for her show Insecure. They were discussing how songs from Issa's own personal playlist made it onto the show along with going through songs with her music producer.
This led into a hilarious conversation about what Issa is currently listening to today and why she cannot listen to Meek Mill. Issa states she "loves Drake, I'm a Stan." She goes on to explain how excited she was to be apart of Drake's video and how his music has been influential to her throughout her career. She then states she hasn't listened to Meek Mill because "yall forgave him." She went on to explain "I'm the girlfriend that's like HE ASKED FOR NO ONIONS!" explaining she's a ride or die for her friends! They responded saying "you holding a 6,7,8 year" beef as Issa responds saying "I don't enjoy when people try him (Drake) just let him live." Issa is obviously protective of her friends as you should be. Check out the snippet below.
