Marin County is the first in the Bay Area to eliminate indoor mask requirements for people vaccinated against COVID-19. You will no longer have to wear a mask in most indoor public spaces like churches, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and most other spaces if you are fully vaccinated. Alameda and Contra Costa counties have also loosened restrictions in some settings for people who've gotten vaccinated. Masks requirements are being relaxed for controlled indoor spaces of 100 people or less, like offices, gyms, or churches if everyone is fully vaccinated.
