Millions of watchers have flocked to stream Netflix hit series ‘Squid Game.’ The series is now set to become Netflix’s most-streamed series ever. With the hype around the series, Netflix was forced to remove some scenes from the series for a surprising reason: the phone number shown is an actual phone number to a man in Korea!
The Korean survival drama broadcasted several scenes showing the the mans phone number, resulting in thousands of fans calling the number shown.
'It has come to the point where people are reaching out day and night due to their curiosity. It drains my phone's battery and it turns off,' the man told Money Today.
Now, Netflix took steps to protect the mans privacy by removing several scenes where the phone number was shown.
'Together with the production company, we are working to resolve this matter, including editing scenes with phone numbers where necessary,' a spokesperson told The Independent.
