Just days after Lizzo made a tearful confession during her Instagram live about the fat-phobic & racist remarks she keeps receiving on her post, Instagram and Facebook are stepping up to stop the nonsense!
During her live, Lizzo tearfully confessed how the comments about her weight and racism were affecting her and taking a toll on her mental health.
Now, Instagram and Facebook announced they are actively working to remove the hateful fat-phobic and racist remarks aimed at Lizzo from their platform. TMZ is reporting they have already removed several comments left on Lizzo's recent Facebook & Instagram posts.
Taking things a step further, they will allegedly be also removing accounts of users who continue to break the guidelines around hate speech, harassment and bullying. Thus, removing the trolls with real accounts for ever.
I'm here for this! I just wish they could be a little more proactive for ALL of our accounts. Thoughts?
