As variants of Covid 19 continue to emerge, San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced today it will make vaccination proof a requirement for any person entering any indoor business or establishment in San Francisco. The new rule is for high contact businesses including indoor restaurants, arenas, gym's, movie theaters and more.
Customers will have to verify their full vaccination status starting Aug. 20, while employees will have until Oct. 13 “to allow time for full vaccination.” The requirement does not apply to children under 12 years of age.
Many businesses in San Francisco have already required their customers show proof of vaccination. This as the city continues to urge people to get vaccinated in order to stop the spread of Covid-19, which is known to be spread mostly amongst the unvaccinated.
