Somehow, Michael B. Jordan is giving me anxiety anticipating the release of his new movie, ' A Journal For Jordan.' Not just because of Jordan's incredible acting skills, but the film is directed by the legend Denzel Washington!
'A Journal For Jordan' is a romance film about a military dad who, prior to his death, pens letters in a journal to his young son on how to live an incredible life after he is gone.
Based on the trailer you can tell both Michael B Jordan and Denzel Washington poured their heart and soul into this film! Not to mention, the idea of Denzel coaching Jordan in acting is incredible!
The film is based on a true story. Dana Canedy published the book 'A Journal for Jordan' after her fiancé, first sergeant Charles Monroe King, was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2006. Their son was only 7 months old at the time of his death.

Michael B Jordan expressed just how much he idolized Denzel Washington when he spoke at AFI Life Achievement Award honoring Denzel Washington in 2019. Now we get to see how they together get portray the human emotions in their new film.
The film is set to be released this Christmas.
