Heartbreaking for this employee's family. A Shoe Palace employee was shot and killed at the store located at Melrose and North Genesee avenues in Los Angeles. Police responded to call around 12:30pm and transferred the male victim to the hospital. Reports claim he later died at the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene and is still on the loose.
The shooting seems to be over a raffle, allegedly. Video allegedly from the scene shows multiple people wearing Shoe Palace shirts outside the store before a gunshot is heard and one person is seen lying on the ground. Rumors are swirling the employee was attempting to break up a fight over a sneaker raffle.
