A man named Mr. Li is being called a "hero" after coming to the aid of two women in Oakland whom were being robbed at gunpoint, then ultimately being shot. The attack happened in Chinatown in Oakland in broad daylight around 2pm Saturday. Two armed men attempted to rob two women of their purses when Mr. Li tried to intervene and was shot. A second man seen in a white shirt also attempted to help ended up getting pistol whipped by the suspects after a tuggle war with the robbers. The robbers ultimately flee by car with the women's purses.
