This is traumatizing for this families children. Thessalonica Allen is facing more than half a dozen felonies after police in LaPorte, Ind. say she shot and killed her husband, cut of his legs with an axe and stuffed him into a bag. Police also say she had her kids help dispose of his body and clean up the crime scene. Instead of calling 911 for an alleged domestic dispute, she enlisted the children's help disposing of his body.
Allen told police that she and her husband Randy got into an argument claiming he choked her. She told them he came after her again and that’s when she shot him. She then allegedly put his body in her daughter’s closet.
The children told police that Randy was helping them with homework when he found a website that their mom had visited. When she got home they were fighting in the bedroom and the kids heard a loud “bang.” They found Randy on the ground asking them to call 911.
Court docs say their mom told them not to call police. That night the kids were woken up in the middle of the night by their mom asking them to help drag Randy’s body out of the closet and put him in his car. They tried but he was too heavy according to police.
When police searched the apartment they found Randy’s body and severed legs. They also found several handwritten checklists. His autopsy revealed the bullet entered the spinal cord area which the doctor said likely kept him from moving as he bled out.
Allen is being held without Bond.
