If hot mess ever had a face. NFL Player Dwayne Haskins has found his name in headlines after his wife Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, 23, was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly knocking out one of his teeth.
The incident allegedly happened at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on July 3rd as the couple were in town to allegedly renew their vows to each other and or celebrating another couples wedding with 14 friends. Allegedly a verbal dispute turned violent when Gondrezick-Haskins punched him in the face knocking out one of his tooth. Police found a piece of a tooth on the floor inside the room along with blood.
“I want her out of my room,” Haskins told a security officer at The Cosmopolitan. “She hit me and cut my lip open.”
Police reported he suffered injuries of a split lip as well which was treated at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
The incident occured allegedly after plans for their social outings were changed. Kalabrya and her friends were going to a “Magic Mike” show, and Dwayne and his friends were going to Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub. Instead of waiting for Kalabrya and the others, Dwayne and his friends went without them. When they returned, the fight got physical.
Regardless, this relationship sounds toxic as the couple just got married on March 19th, after dating for one and a half years.
Haskins was signed by the Steelers after he was released by the Washington Football Team in December. He is now the backup for starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Haskins was drafted by Washington with the No. 15 pick overall in 2019.
Haskins-Gondrezick played basketball at Michigan State University. She is also the sister of Kysre, who was the fourth overall pick in last year’s WNBA draft, playing for the Indiana Fever.
