Here we go again with these crimes of opportunity seemingly happening more and more around the bay area! Video surveillance from 7/7/2021 appears to show a woman driving her SUV along Broadway in Oakland when a man suddenly attempts to bust out her passenger window. The robber then breaks out her rear passenger window, climbs in the car and steals her backpack and purse! Apparently the woman had just left the bank.
Because of the traffic, the woman who was in shock and afraid, could not drive away due to the traffic. How the white get-away vehicle was able to get away we don't know.
Robberies while driving in the Bay Area have now become a thing apparently! Anyone else feel like the two robber looks like the same person from the smash and grab while getting on I-80 a few months ago! Hoping the cops took fingerprints off her car!
