We all know bippin' in the Bay Area is at an all time high. Unfortunately, former Golden State Warriors player Festus Ezeli learned this lesson again stopping for lunch in Oakland yesterday.
The former NBA Champion took to Instagram to express his disappointment and concern after stopping for lunch before leaving to SFO. He wrote he stopped at a busy restaurant leaving his luggage in the car in broad daylight just to return and find someone had broken into his truck and stolen "everything!"
"But forreal i got so much love for The Town and The Bay crazy to see crime getting bad like this" he wrote in his story. He continued "I used to live in this neighborhood. Wasn't bad. It's crazy to see it like this. Some of the ppl knew me and tried to stop them from stealing my stuff but they work FAST and they dipped out quick.
Its is just stuff and can be replaced. But I'm posting this so others can learn from my mistake."
Sad this happens everyday and is almost normal here in the Bay Area. No one is immune from getting bipped. Hoping the thieves may be sympathetic and mayyyyyybe he might be able to get some of his items stolen back. Although, unlikely.
