These home invasions and robberies are getting more and more bold! A Fairfield homeowner found themselves having to defend their home after a home invasion suspect knocked on their door, then kicked it in and entered the home. The owners were eating breakfast at the time and ultimately ended up shooting and killing the intruder. Police found the intruder across the street from the home suffering from gunshot wounds.
