We knew hood fireworks would be in full effect this year after spending last 4th of July stuck in the house. Unfortunately some celebrations went too far sparking fires, gunshots hitting innocent children, and a woman being critically injured at an illegal sideshow. The Chief Of The Oakland Police Department stated July 4th was "12 hours of nonstop chaos" which he did not have enough officers or resources to respond.
