Over the weekend, a surveillance video surfaced of a man attacking a female San Francisco police officer.
According to ABC 7,
"He turned around, shoved her and wrestled with her before pushing her to the ground. She was carrying a bean bag gun across her back, but was clearly unable to reach for it."
Several people rushed to the officers aid. She reportedly suffered minor injuries.
It was later revealed that the attacker had several run ins with the law in the past and allegedly said that he "specializes in killing asian people."
