Olivia Benson has to be proud! An 11-year-old Florida girl was caught on video successfully fighting off a knife-wielding man who attempted to kidnap her!
The video shows Alyssa playing outside while waiting for her school bus in West Pensacola, Florida early Tuesday. Suddenly Alyssa saw the man running toward her. She thought to herself, “What is he going to do with me?” the girl told WKRG. “Where is he going to … where am I going to be at? What is my family going to think? Scared … anxious.” Alyssa added: “He had a knife in his hand. I tried running off but he grabbed me. He took me with his arm and I was able to get him down to the ground and I was able to get away.”
After freeing herself she instantly ran into her neighbor’s near by house whose door was thankfully open.
Amber Bondal, 30, said her daughter was such a quick thinker she even thought to leave evidence behind, a tip she learned watching 'Law & Order: SVU.' The mom and daughter duo expressed they've watched every episode of 'Law & Order: SVU' together.
“She said, ‘Mom, I had to leave some sort of evidence behind, like on ‘Law & Order: SVU.’ We’ve watched probably every episode on Hulu. She’s a smart cookie, she thinks on her toes. She got that slime everywhere.”
Police did locate the suspect and found him with the blue slime still on his arm! GO Alyssa!
