Looks like an "investigation" is now underway after surveillance video shows how nearly 30 inmates in a South Bay jail were able to viciously attack an alleged witness for more than 5 minutes! The victim was attacked without any interference for more than 4 minutes leaving the informant beaten and bloody in a Santa Clara County Jail. Deputies defended their actions stating the deputies are responsible for multiple tasks therefore could not respond sooner. Prosecutors charged all 31 attackers felony assault and active participation in a street gang.
