Here we go again. A Black man from San Francisco is blasting a San Jose Starbucks store after the store manager targeted him and ordered him out of the store because of Covid-19 capacity guidelines. The problem, the victim alleges he waited outside for his order and witnessed other customers allowed into the store. Ward believes he was targeted because he was Black.
Now, with Ward's story going viral, Starbucks is apologizing stating they will be retraining staff on how to "respectfully navigate capacity limits" for their South Bay stores. Ironically, Starbucks is claiming to not have any video footage of the incident in question despite having security cameras at the store.
