Oakland's own Ryan Coogler has another reason to celebrate as he just inked a 5-year exclusive over-all Disney Television deal! Deadline is also reporting the deal includes a Wakanda TV series spin-off for Disney+! The series for Black Panther fans will be based in the Kingdom Of Wakanda, per Deadline.

Coogler, who broke into the Movie producer scene with record breaking hit movies like Fruitvale Station and Black Panther, stated per Deadline:

As avid consumers of television, we couldn’t be happier to be launching our television business with Bob Iger, Dana Walden and all the amazing studios under the Disney umbrella.
