Some people deserve to be in jail. An Indiana mother has been arrested after a video posted to Facebook allegedly shows the mother slapping her infant son.Hannah R. Winch, 21, was arrested on domestic battery and intimidation charges after video posted by the child's grandparents shows a woman slapping a child so hard he slams on the ground.
It's believed to be from a video call between Winch and the child's father
Authorities conducted a welfare check on Friday around 8.15pm and arrested Winch after receiving calls from social media users reporting what they'd seen.
Joel Urbin shared the clip online and blasted Child Protective Services as he said they're letting his 10-month-old grandson 'stay with this piece of work. '
It was posted after other clips were removed from online.
Another woman claiming she is the child's great aunt wrote: 'She shoved him so hard he face planted on the carpet when he was already crying! Why? Because she was mad.'
Social media users commented and shared messages that they were appalled Winch has since been released from jail. But police have said the investigation is ongoing.
Police said the baby went into the custody of the child's mother initially but was with the child's father Saturday.
