Kevin Hart is catching heat once again for downplaying and "gas-lighting" why Lil Nas X publicly came out as gay. In the clip from "The Shop," Lil Nas X was questioned "why he felt it was important/necessary to come out." Immediately, Kevin Hart replied " He said he was gay, so what."
Lil Nas X responded saying: "It's not that it was forced... Im growing up to hate that $hit... I'm not supposed to ever like this...Homosexuality, gay." Kevin Hart responded saying "Hate what? Why?" to which Lil Nas X stated: " Come on now, if your really from the hood then you know. So for me, the cool dude with the song on top of everything to say this... any other time im doing this for attention, in my eyes. But for me, if your doing this when your at that top your showing that it doesn't really matter."
