Coming out to your parents can be one of the hardest things a child can do. NBA Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade took to his Instagram story to share support for his 11-year-old son Zaire with a photo of Zaire with his step mom Gabrielle Union writing "We support each other with pride!"
The Wade's were attending the annual Miami Beach Pride march Sunday. He was joined by his siblings and step-mother since Dwayne Wade was away in Toronto for a game.
Wade continued posting to his Instagram story more photos of Zion with his family at pride writing "Zion had his... cheering section today. Wish i was there to see you smile kid!"
Zion, Zaire's older brother, also took to his Instagram story to post a photo of himself with Zion at Pride captioned, "Love you lil bro no matter what."
Union rode a float with Zion dancing and celebrating during the parade as his familly cheered from the sideline. Many fans on social media were quick to praise Wade and Union's parenting skills for supporting their young child.
Other users not only praised Union and Wade, but expressed how they wish they were supported in the same fashion when they were young.
