TMZ is reporting that singer Monica, has filed for divorce from former NBA player husband, Shannon Brown. Although details of the divorce have not been released yet, Monica filed for divorce in Atlanta earlier this month. The two married in 2010 and share one child together. Monica has two other children with another partner.
While the details of the divorce filing have yet to be released, rumors have been swirling for years that Shannon Brown was cheating on Monica with numerous women. Recall in 2016, multiple women spoke out against Shannon Brown claiming they had affairs with him. One Instagram model even blasted Shannon on Instagram detailing her experience claiming Shannon flew her "out for a couple of Xrated days" and even posted alleged screen shots to prove it. In 2018, there was new speculation the two were separating yet Monica defused those rumors posting photos of the couple to her social media account.
At the time, Shannon and Monica denied the cheating claims. As of late, Monica has allegedly been spotted not wearing her wedding ring.
