Netflix announces hip-hop competition show with Cardi B, Chance The Rapper.

Major news for up and coming artist! Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, and T.I. have teamed up with Netflix for a new show: Rythm + Flow.  The three artists will act as judges for Rhythm + Flow, a ten-part hip-hop talent search that will debut on Netflix in 2019. This show is set to be the American Idol of hip hop! Additional artist and their various roles will be announced in the future.

Rhythm + Flow is described by the streaming platform as the documented "search for the next breakout hip-hop star." In their own report on the new Netflix project, Deadline noted that Atlanta, Chicago, and New York are among the confirmed shooting cities thus far. For each season 1 stop, guest judges from those respective cities will contribute to the proceedings.
