A video posted online has since gone viral as it shows a man later discovered to be Aaron Schlossberg, a New York attorney.
The racist tirade was sparked after Aaron Schlossberg was displeased with employees behind the counter speaking Spanish to each other. He goes on to complain yet then started to unleash racist rhetoric claiming he "pays for their welfare" and he would "call ICE" on the employees.
The incident took place at a Fresh Kitchen on Madison Avenue. The anonymous woman who took the video told PIX11 News she was ordering her lunch when a man in a white button-down shirt complained to a manager about two employees taking lunch orders in Spanish.
When he heard the two workers speak Spanish, he went off.
“Every person I listened to, he’s spoke, he spoke, she’s speaking it. It’s America,” the man yelled at the manager.
The man then threatened to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the workers, who he accused of being illegal immigrants.
“And my guess is that they’re not documented so my next call is to ICE to have each one of them kicked out of my country,” he said. “If they have the balls to come here and live off of my money – I pay for their welfare, I pay for their ability to be here.”
After social media users were able to identify the man in the video was Aaron Schlossberg, it was then discovered that his racist behavior had been documented previously! Apparently, he bumped into a man on the sidewalk and then calls the man a "ugly f***** foreigner, threatens to call the police on him.
And then it was discovered this same man was spewing hate at a protest last year.
Needless to say the internet is now in full fledged attack mode and attempting to have his license to practice law repealed. Of course, there were plenty of jokes as well.
