Megan Thee Stallion Is Going To Heat Up The KMEL Summer Jam Stage!

Megan Thee Stallion is making her Summer Jam debut and it's going to be a hot one.

The Houston native started her career killing it on cyphers over Drake's "4pm in Calabasas", and since then she's been on the rise. She quickly gained the attention of viewers when she uploaded "Stalli Freestyle" on her YouTube channel which got over 2 million views! With comments like,

"she had no business going that hard. Im shook"

There's no doubt that her hometown of Houston has a big influence on her rap style, as Rolling Stone Magazine put it,

"Her music is unapologetically Southern, with her thick Houston accent bouncing effortlessly over sensual and bare trap beats, allowing her lyricism and delivery to shine through."

In that same interview Megan Thee Stallion went on to say why she reps for her city so hard,

“I feel like I have to put on for my city, because we have so many legends and so many greats...But I don’t feel like we ever really had a female rapper come from Houston or Texas and shut shit down. So that’s where I’m coming from with it.”

Megan has gone on to drop her mixtape "The Tina Show" which has over 11 million streams and singles like "Big Ole Freak".

Megan Thee Stallion is redefining what it means to be a female rapper on her own terms and we can't wait to see her tear up the KMEL Summer Jam stage!
