A man disregarded his symptoms and boarded a flight from Florida to California that proved to be his last. While the man was struggling with Covid complication aboard the flight an EMT stepped in to help. Tony Aldapa was informed by the mans wife that he had lost his sense of taste & smell a day earlier. She also went on to state that the deceased man had a terrible cough and was having difficulty breathing before boarding the flight. Once aboard the United airlines flight the deceased fell to the floor and that's when Aldapa jumped in to help, even knowing the circumstances.
The gentleman who went into shock on the flight died after being transported to the nearest hospital. The flight continued on to LAX after making the emergency stop along the way. EMT Aldapa is now suffering from Covid symptoms after performing 45 mins of CPR on the plane. Aldapa says that he wouldn't change a thing that he did in the moment, and that's why he became a public servant.
