The city of San Jose is trying to protect its residents lungs despite smoky conditions that have been affecting the Bay Area air quality for nearly a month! The city opened 2 Clean Air Centers that are open nearly all day for people to escape the smoke out doors. Upon entry they do require people to wear masks while inside & to keep a social distance of at least six feet between themselves and others. The air centers are open to the public and have amenities such as: water, Free WiFi, seating and power outlets.
