A Bay Area man walked over to the fire station at 7100 Foothill Ave in Oakland early last Saturday morning and decided to steal a whole fire truck then take it for a joyride up I-80. A neighbor alerted the police when the vehicle was stolen and the police helicopter was in pursuit of the man until a spike strip brought the vehicle to screeching halt in Vacaville! 55 miles, multiple felonies, and one Bay Area clown...smh.
