A Dallas High School valedictorian had her mic cut off while giving her graduation speech... the reason, her principle didn't agree with her acknowledgement of injustice towards youth of color! Rooha Haghar had a section of her grad speech where she spoke about police & social injustice that have cost youth like Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice their lives. The principal at her high school requested the mic turned off to silence Rooha during her speech, so she went home & filmed the rest of her speech for the world to see on Twitter! Congratulations Rooha, never give up on your fight to reclaim your time!
