Diddy and superstar music mogul Jermaine Dupri will square off in a Verzuz Battle, according to Dupri. The two had earlier declined to take part in the music contest because Triller had neglected to fairly compensate Swizz Beats and Timberland, the platform's creators. After then, Beats and Timberland and Triller came to an agreement that let them to reorganize Verzuz. Dupri recently revealed on a podcast that the next concert will feature the best songs from both his and Diddy's discographies.
"Puff and I are entering this Verzuz, and I'm the underdog—and a dangerous one at that. And I say risk because people aren't really familiar with my background. We are familiar with all of Puff's tracks, and I don't think he has any obscure recordings. We are familiar with all of Puff's songs; he has no unreleased material that makes me envious. Jermaine Dupri remarked, "I got a number of tunes that he don't even truly be thinking about.
While Dupri didn’t give any futher details, he did mention the location of the event and where it was going to be.
“It’s gonna be at the stadium–it’s gonna be at the Mercedes-Benz,” he shared with the hosts of @iamathlete podcast.
