4 people in Critical condition after Tesla goes off cliff

According to a statement from CalFire's San Mateo and Santa Cruz Unit, four persons are in critical condition after a Tesla they were riding in careened off a road in San Mateo County on Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred when the car was driving along Highway 1 close to Devil's Slide. All four patients, including two adults and two children, are presently in critical condition as a result of the tragedy, an official on the scene said crews. According to CalFire, the Tesla ran off the road and fell roughly 250 feet.

Crews reported that numerous air ambulances were on their way to the crash site to take the injured people to nearby hospitals.
