Lin-Manuel Miranda who created the Broadway hit Hamilton along with the show’s stars, Leslie Odom Jr, and Daveed Diggs are set to open this year’s SAG Awards.
Hamilton follows the country’s founding fathers, Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson, and of course Alexander Hamilton in a hip-hop version of the story, which took Broadway by storm and won 11 Tony Awards back in 2016 including Best Musical.
The 28th annual show will air live from The Barker Ganger in Santa Monica, this Sunday, February 27th.
