Winter is on the way and Oakland's tiny home community, Lakeview Village, is starting the process to house 65 of the city's homeless.
According to NBC Bay Area:
"The tiny homes will have electric heat, a smoke detector, carbon monoxide monitor, fire extinguisher, a door that locks, and storage. The village will have potable water, showers as well as onsite security."
Aside from housing, residents will also receive three meals a day and can stay as long as they need to.
